County of Essex Administration Building

The County of Essex Administration Building features Essex County Council Chambers and is home to several regional organizations, including the Essex Region Conservation Authority (ERCA) and the Essex-Windsor Solid Waste Authority (EWSWA).

Location

The County of Essex Administration Building is located at 360 Fairview Ave. W. in Essex. It is owned and operated by the County of Essex. It was constructed in 1974 and is about 9,700 square metres.

Visiting the County of Essex Administration Building

Visitors to County Facilities are expected to make an appointment in advance, attend at the designated reception area prior to their appointment, follow the direction of such County employee or delegate assigned to the reception area, and comply with the security measures in place from time to time for Visitors. Accessibility

The public entrance at the County of Essex Administration Building is on the west side, or the Highway 3 side, of the building. There are multiple accessible parking spots near that entrance. Once inside the building, an elevator can take visitors to the second or third floors.

In the event the elevator is temporarily out of service, there is a wheelchair lift on the north side of the building, facing Fairview Avenue West. Signage indicates that visitors should contact our Facilities team for assistance at 519-776-6441, ext. 1412.
