Ambulance, police and fire

Essex-Windsor EMS: The County of Essex is responsible for providing ambulance service to Essex County, Windsor and Pelee Island.

Police: The local municipalities are responsible for police services.

Fire: The local municipalities are responsible for fire services.

Essex County's emergency measures coordinator is responsible for planning the coordination of a response to large-scale emergencies or natural disasters.
