Essex County's local municipalities are responsible for police and fire services. Contact 911 if you require immediate assistance.

Police

The Towns of Essex, Kingsville and Tecumseh, and the Municipalities of Lakeshore and Leamington are policed by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

The Town of Amherstburg has entered into a 20-year service contract with Windsor Police.

The Town of LaSalle maintains its own police service.
