2025 Construction Program

The road construction program for Essex County in 2025 totals $98,119,210.

The 2025 program has seven key areas:

• Capacity expansion – $67,604,780
• Rehabilitation – $23,615,230
• Traffic operations – $710,600
• Municipal drainage – $800,000
• Planning and engineering – $197,600
• CWATS (active transportation) – $4,900,000
• Equipment and software – $291,000

Road rehabilitation program

The 2025 Road Rehabilitation Program, at an estimated cost of $23.6 million, includes 13 road rehabilitation projects, two bridge rehabilitation projects and three culvert rehabilitation projects.
