County issues RFP for Ortho-photography services

The County of Essex has issued an RFP for Ortho-photography services as it updates the bank of aerial photos it uses for mapping and planning purposes.

The County has issued this Request for Proposal on behalf of its seven local municipalities, the Essex Region Conservation Authority and the City of Windsor. The RFP calls for regional scale ortho-photography with 10 cm final pixel resolution or better.

This project supports the County’s periodic ortho-photography program. The goal of the program is to provide high-quality aerial photos to staff, managers and the public in order to support a wide variety of asset management, decision support, mapping, planning and visualization activities.

The deadline for questions and clarifications is noon on January 16. The final addendum date is January 21 and the submission deadline is 4 p.m. on January 25^th.
