Essex County Construction and Road Closures Update – August 10, 2021

County Road 27 will be closed (bridge out) between County Road 8 and County Road 46 from May 17 to Aug. 13 for bridge rehabilitation. (Map ID#1)

County Road 22 will have lane restrictions in both directions between County Road 21 and Commercial Boulevard from Aug. 3 to Aug. 11 for road construction. (Map ID#2)

County Road 27 will be closed at No. 47 Drain located between County Road 23 and Highway 3 from Aug. 4 to Sept. 3, 2021 for culvert replacement. (Map ID#3)

County Road 42 will be closed at the Concession 4 Drain located between Renaud Line and County Road 25 from Aug. 16 to Sept. 10. (Map ID#4)

County Road 2 will have lane restrictions between Strong Road and Moisson Creek Bridge from July 26 to Aug. 13 for road construction. (Map ID#5)

County Road 23 will have lane restrictions between County Road 18 and County Road 27 from Aug. 12 to Aug. 27 for road construction. (Map ID#6)

County Road 18 will have lane restrictions between County Road 23 and Coulter Road from Aug. 12 to Aug. 27 for road construction. (Map ID# 7)

County Road 22 will be closed between Commercial Boulevard and County Road 19 on Sunday, Aug. 22 from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. for road construction. (Map ID# 8)

County Road 50 will be closed at the West Townline Drain located between Wright Road and County Road 41 from Sept. 13 to Oct. 8 for culvert replacement. (Map ID# 9)

Please exercise patience with the line painting operations. Be prepared to drive slowly and do not drive over the wet paint to prevent damage to your vehicle.
