Essex-Windsor EMS Chief Bruce Krauter received the Carol Mueller Mental Health Champion Award Tuesday morning for the work he has done highlighting and openly dealing with the mental wellness issues first responders confront. Krauter, a former front-line paramedic who knows first-hand about the impact ‘bad calls’ can have on first responders, received the award at the Breakfast of Champions event at the St.

Survivor Day is an event that celebrates survivors of trauma and out of hospital cardiac arrest (OOHCA).
